This song came very spontaneously. While I was writing the beat Janu popped in to the office and I asked him to record his voice. The next day when I was mixing the beat and voice, Bramdev came to practice violin in the studio. I asked him if he liked this song that I was working on, and he was inspired to record the violin. The next day, after listening to Satsang, I felt to use this excerpt, of Moojibaba's words also, which completed the song, and gave it a deep meaning:
If you just feel like it's the unknown, why would you give up the world of the apparent known or the known, for something that's unknown to you?
The unknown has to shower something on the seeker to entice the seeker to say "look more deeply into it".
And what is the fragrance from the unknown?
It is a deep feeling of peace, of silence, of spaciousness, of joy, of an emerging love, of openness.
These qualities begin to emerge in you, begin to arise. They're attractive to the soul that aspires for Truth; that is going to be the boat that takes you across the sea of samsara.
~ Moojibaba
