Thank you

“Thank You”

If you're feeling blue, and you don't know what to do
Close your eyes and say “Thank You”
If you've got lots of allergies, to gluten, nuts and goat cheese
Take a breath and say “Thank You”
If your life was oh so sweet, 'til you found fungus on your feet
Remember just to say “Thank You”
If you adopt the attitude to have a little gratitude
You'll see that life is really God's treat

Now you might have a friend, that drives you round the bend
Praise the Lord and say “Thank You”
Before you contemplate rejection, see they're simply a reflection
Be humble and just say “Thank You”
For when you're looking from your heart, you will see no-one apart
Remember this and say “Thank You”
If you adopt the attitude to have a little gratitude
You'll see that you are One and not Two

So just say….
Thank You x 5, thank you for the air that I breathe
Thank You x 5, thank you for the birds and the bees
Thank You x 5, thank you for the night and the day
If you adopt the attitude to have a little gratitude
You'll see that everything is okay

Thank you for this sangha, thank you for the satsang
Thank you for our Guruji
For he's our super hero, when he tells us to be zero
And reminds us yet again to Just Be
Without mask or satin cape
He says simply “don't take shape”
With hands on hearts we say “Thank You”
When we adopt this attitude to have a bit of gratitude
There's really not much else to do

So just say….
Thank You x 5, thank you for the stars and the moon
Thank You x 5, thank you for these words and this tune
Thank You x 5, thank you to the Lord up above
When we adopt the attitude to have a little gratitude
We find that there is only Love (Repeat the last 2 lines)

About Akira

I first met Moojibaba in 2014 in India. Captivated by his simple pointings, I was drawn to attend my first silent retreat with him in Portugal and then stayed near Sahaja for a few months. It was a very auspicious and transformative period in my life. I later became part of the team at Mooji Sangha Bhavan where I served for 5 years. I now live close to Sahaja as part of the village sangha.
